Michael “Fame” Guenther is founding member of Agitation Free (together with Lutz “Lüül” Ulbrich, Christoph “Christopher” Franke and Lutz “Ludwig” Kramer) and is the band`s bassplayer on all albums the band recorded up to now.

Sideactivities i.e. with Heinz Lau and his Group Vox, with the Tschech Composer Ladislav Kupkovic for his performance in the “Berlin Akademie of Arts” (so called Wandelkonzert), the amerikan composer John Cage (together with the Band) for the sole performance in Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Berlin composer Erhard Großkopf and Swizerlands composer Thomas Kessler, concerning so-called “serious” music, or several rockbands i.E. Sopwith Camel (with Australian singer-songwriter Richard Clapton (together with Burghard Rausch)) concerning rock music.

Further activities have been the bands Lagoona and Bo Fame & Friends (with Gustl Lütjens, Hans Brandeis, Konstantin “Bommi” Bommarius; Manfred “Manne” Opitz and others).

Since 1975 he is the technical advisor for the Berlin Jazz Festival (Berlin “Jazzfest”) and is the founder of the first and at this time the most important hire company for lights and sound in Germany.
