Since their formation in Berlin in 1967, Agitation Free have shaped the scene with hypnotic improvisations, endless riffs, and psychedelic soundscapes.
Classics such as Malesch and 2nd continue to inspire ambient, prog, and Krautrock fans worldwide to this day.
After more than 50 years, they return with fresh drive—a tribute to their roots, yet more innovative than ever!
“Momentum”:
Their new studio album “Momentum” caused a sensation: Stern, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine, and others celebrated it. There was also international acclaim (The Wire), resulting in great concerts at the Burg Herzberg Festival (2024), Finkenbach Festival, and 2Days Prog+1 Festival (2025) in Italy.

The band presents a renewed line-up that combines tradition and modernity:
Lutz “Lüül” Graf-Ulbrich (guitar), Axel Heilhecker (guitar), Daniel Cordes (bass), Burghard Rausch (drums), and Tim Sund (keys). This revitalized ensemble—based on the chemistry that exploded in recent performances—promises trance-like sessions, pulsating grooves, and unforgettable moments.
