With Dr. Peter Hanser-Strecker, we signed our first record deal in 1972 through the mediation of Peter Michael Hamel, which enabled us to launch a worldwide career. He was always a good, fair business partner to us, as well as a person with an open mind and a flair for innovation. He made a big difference, and not only at Schott Music. We are eternally grateful to him. Rest in peace, Peter!<\/p>\n
